Meet Jules Oliva
Born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, Jules discovered her passion for design early on.
She earned her degree in interior design and architecture from Colorado State University and began her career designing interiors for semi-custom home builders. When the recession shifted the industry, Jules turned her focus to a specialty that would become the foundation of her career: custom window coverings.
Jules founded Monarch Shades & Drapery in 2023 with a simple philosophy:

Every project begins with an in-person consultation, allowing Jules to understand not only her client's vision, but also how light, architecture, finishes, and materials interact within the space. She brings an extensive collection of fabrics and materials directly to each project, thoughtfully considering everything from wall color and countertops to flooring and natural light before making a recommendation.
While Monarch specializes in high-end residential design, Jules' experience also extends to restaurants, hotels, and commercial spaces. Across every project, her approach remains the same: listen closely, design thoughtfully, and take ownership of every detail from start to finish.
